Hardy's Condition in the Moment Problem for Probability Distributions [PDF]
In probabilistic terms Hardy's condition is written as follows: ${\bf E}\,[e^{c{\sqrt X}}] 0$ a constant. If this holds, then all moments of $X$ are finite and the distribution of $X$ is uniquely determined by the moments (M-determinate). This condition, based on two papers by Hardy (1917/1918), is weaker than Cramer's condition requiring the existence

Risk Analysis through the Half-Normal Distribution
We study the applicability of the half-normal distribution to the probability–severity risk analysis traditionally performed through risk matrices and continuous probability–consequence diagrams (CPCDs).

Connexin43 Deficiency Leads to Ventricular Arrhythmias by Reprogramming Proline Metabolism
The study demonstrated that connexin43 (Cx43) knockout caused arrhythmic phenotype and decreased proline content in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, Cx43 interacts with the amino acid transporter SNAT2 (sodium‐dependent neutral amino acid transporter), and its deficiency disrupts proline transport and metabolism.

A Bottom‐Up Design Framework for Multifunctional Lattice Metamaterials
This study introduces a generative AI framework for designing multifunctional lattice metamaterials. The method combines 3D Gaussian voxel generation with deep learning, enabling greater design freedom and structural performance. The optimized lattice metamaterials achieve enhanced energy absorption by 40–200% compared to conventional structures and ...
