Maximum plasmon thermal conductivity of a thin metal film [PDF]
Due to their extremely long propagation lengths compared to the wavelengths, surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) have been considered as a key in enhancing thermal conductivity in thin metal films. This study explores the conditions at which the plasmon thermal conductivity is maximized, considering the thickness-dependent metal permittivity.

Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a possibility for different applications in early and late stage breast cancer management. In early breast cancer tumor informed approaches are increasingly used for detecting molecular residual disease (MRD) and early recurrence. In advanced stage, ctDNA provides a possibility for monitoring disease progression and

Intrinsic nonlinear conductivity induced by quantum geometry in altermagnets and measurement of the in-plane Néel vector [PDF]
The $z$-component of the N\'{e}el vector is measurable by the anomalous Hall conductivity in altermagnets because time reversal symmetry is broken. On the other hand, it is a nontrivial problem how to measure the in-plane component of the N\'{e}el vector. We study the second-order nonlinear conductivity of a system made of the $d$-wave altermagnet with

In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

The influence of 2,4-D and dicamba on the physiology of olive seedlings [PDF]
The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of herbicides 2,4-D and dicamba on the physiological response of chlorophyll a in olive (Olea europaea) seedlings. The following eight rates of the 2,4 D (670 g a.e.

Unusual Length Dependence of Conductance of Some Oligomers [PDF]
Recent experiment found a quantum length dependence of oligothiophene molecule conductance at low bias [Xu et al., nano Lett. \textbf{5}, 1491 (2005)], the long molecule has large conductance. By means of a first-principles method we obtain both the quantum length dependence of conductance at low bias and the classical length dependence of conductance ...

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...
