Multi‐metal Cu─Ce─Ag nanoparticles harness synergistic interactions to drive efficient electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction toward C2+ products at high current densities. Ag enhances CO production, Ce modulates Cu oxidation states, and together they boost *CO coverage and local pH to enhance C─C coupling, enabling record C2+ yields with suppressed ...

The negative electron affinity of diamond allows to emit highly reductive electrons. By introducing intra‐bandgap states and an optimized electron transfer mechanism by surface functionalization with Ru(bpy)3, the formation of solvated electrons is achieved upon solar irradiation.

This critical review describes the preparation and properties of a relatively new class of chiral macromolecules, namely chiral conducting polymers. It focuses in particular on examples based on polypyrrole, polythiophene and polyaniline. They possess remarkable properties, combining not only chirality with electrical conductivity but also the ability ...

[1991] Proceedings of the 20th Electrical Electronics Insulation Conference, 1992
The fabrication of conducting polymers is briefly described. Advances in stability and processing characteristics, which have been the main barriers to the commercialization of these materials, are examined. The first commercial use of a conducting polymer in a 3 V, coin-sized primary battery is discussed.

Conducting Polymers: Electrical Conductivity
2007Abstract : While undoped polymers are insulators, doped conducting polymers have conductivities comparable to conventional metals and semiconductors despite their polymer chain structure. Models for the doping induced insulator-metal transition and the metallic conductivity of conducting polymers are introduced.
