Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Polymeric membrane systems of potential use for battery separators [PDF]
Two membrane systems were investigated that may have potential use as alkaline battery separators. One system comprises two miscible polymers: a support polymer (e.g., polyvinyl formal) and an ion conductor such as polyacrylic acid.

A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

The phase diagram of the massive Gross-Neveu model, revisited
The massive Gross-Neveu model is solved in the large N limit at finite temperature and chemical potential. The phase diagram features a kink-antikink crystal phase which was missed in previous works.

The metallic state in disordered quasi-one-dimensional conductors [PDF]
The unusual metallic state in conjugated polymers and single-walled carbon nanotubes is studied by dielectric spectroscopy (8--600 GHz). We have found an intriguing correlation between scattering time and plasma frequency.
