This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...

New developments in bone-conduction hearing implants: a review
The different kinds of bone-conduction devices (BCDs) available for hearing rehabilitation are growing. In this paper, all BCDs currently available or in clinical trials will be described in categories according to their principles. BCDs that vibrate the

The LEXOVE prospective study evaluated plasma cell‐free extracellular vesicle (cfEV) dynamics using Bradford assay and dynamic light scattering in metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer patients undergoing first‐line treatments, correlating a ∆cfEV < 20% with improved median progression‐free survival in responders versus non‐responders.

We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

Adaptive ERK reactivation hinders FLT3 tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment in FLT3/ITD acute myeloid leukemia. Here, we report that FLT3 TKI treatment rapidly induces AXL expression and upregulation that is temporally associated with the adaptive ERK reactivation.

Aspects Regarding the Surface Hardening of Flat-Shaped Workpieces Using Inductive Equipment [PDF]
This paper addresses the practical application of the inductive electromagnetic field in the process of hardening a flat-shaped workpiece. The first part presents the results of the numerical simulation of the surface hardening process for a flat-shaped ...

Applications of Chern-Simons Ward Identities to log(Tτ) Conductivity Calculations of the nu=1/2 System [PDF]
We reconsider the theory of the half-filled Landau level with impurities using the Chern-Simons formulation and study Ward identities for the Chern-Simons theory. From these we get conductivity diagrams with impurities which obey the continuity equation.
