Conductive mechanisms in electrical conductive adhesives with isotropical electrical conductivity

2011 IEEE 17th International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME), 2011
Electrical conductivity of electrically conductive adhesives is controlled with three mechanisms. These mechanisms are described — a phonon-electron interaction, a constriction mechanism and a tunnel mechanism. If the phonon-electron and constriction mechanisms dominate; the temperature dependence of resistivity is positive and linear, and the ...

A.c. conduction in amorphous chalcogenide and pnictide semiconductors

, 1987
The various origins of a frequency-dependent conductivity in amorphous semiconductors are reviewed, stressing particularly recent advances and the influences that factors such as correlation and non-random spatial distributions of electrically active ...

Governing the conduct of conduct: are restraints inevitable?

Journal of Advanced Nursing, 2002
Background.  The purpose of this article is to provide an interpretation of how restraint use is maintained and legitimized despite negative reports on its efficacy and questions about its ethicality. My research examined the use of restraint on a patient requiring care in an acute teaching hospital in Australia.

Conduction modelling of a conductive adhesive with bimodal distribution of conducting element

International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives, 1999
It is shown by the electric network percolation theory, that the isotropic conductive adhesive (ICA) using a bimodal distribution of metal fillers is expected to have a decreased metal loading for better mechanical performance while its electrical and manufacturing processing properties remain unchanged.

INDIRECT EXCHANGE COUPLING OF NUCLEAR MAGNETIC MOMENTS BY CONDUCTION ELECTRONS

, 1954
A calculation is given of the indirect exchange ${\mathrm{I}}_{i}\ifmmode\cdot\else\textperiodcentered\fi{}{\mathrm{I}}_{j}$ type coupling of nuclear magnetic moments in a metal by means of the hyperfine interaction with the conduction electrons.

Understanding the conduction and breakdown properties of polyethylene nanodielectrics: effect of deep traps

IEEE transactions on dielectrics and electrical insulation, 2016
Due to the variation of charge transport characteristics by introduction of nanostructured filler, the conduction and dielectric breakdown properties of nanodielectrics are poorly understood.

Conduction in graphenes

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2009
It is shown that, within the tight-binding approximation, Fermi-level ballistic conduction for a perimeter-connected graphene fragment follows a simple selection rule: the zero eigenvalues of the molecular graph and of its subgraph minus both contact vertices must be equal in number, as must those of the two subgraphs with single contact vertices ...

Spatial variation of currents and fields due to localized scatterers in metallic conduction

IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1988
Localized scatterers can be expected to give rise to spatial variations in the electric field and in the current distribution. The transport equation allowing for spatial variations is solved by first considering the homogeneous transport equation which ...
