EVALUATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ELASTIC AND ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CONDUCTIVE TEXTILES [PDF]
Smart textiles are fabrics that interact intelligently with nearby surroundings or consumers. The electronic textile (e-textile) can sense environmental circumstances or stimuli and provide information that can effectively respond to and adapt actions ...

Investigation of the Mechanical and Electrical Properties of Elastic Textile/Polymer Composites for Stretchable Electronics at Quasi-Static or Cyclic Mechanical Loads [PDF]
In the last decade, interest in stretchable electronic systems that can be bent or shaped three-dimensionally has increased. The application of these systems is that they differentiate between two states and derive there from the requirements for the ...

Mathematical model predicting the heat and power dissipated in an electro-conductive contact in a hybrid woven fabric [PDF]
Electro-conductive (EC) yarns can be woven into a hybrid fabric to enable electrical current to flow through the fabric from one component A to another component B. These hybrid fabrics form the bases of woven e-textiles.

Wideband and UWB antennas for wireless applications. A comprehensive review [PDF]
A comprehensive review concerning the geometry, the manufacturing technologies, the materials, and the numerical techniques, adopted for the analysis and design of wideband and ultrawideband (UWB) antennas for wireless applications, is presented. Planar,

Curvature‐tuned auxetic lattices are designed, fabricated, and mechanically characterized to reveal how geometric curvature governs stretchability, stress redistribution, and Poisson's ratio evolution. Photoelastic experiments visualize stress pathways, while hyperelastic simulations quantify deformation mechanics.

Textile UWB antennas for wireless body area networks [PDF]
A new ultrawideband (UWB) textile antenna designed for UWB wireless body area network (WBAN) applications is presented. Unlike previous textile antennas, these antennas offer a direct integration into clothing due to a very small thickness (0.5 mm) and ...
