ABSTRACT Power lines in synthetic‐aperture radar (SAR) images are reflected as point signatures, which fluctuate annually in both the azimuth and range directions. A novel framework is proposed in this paper to evaluate the four‐dimensional dynamic status of power line sag using those point signatures in time‐series SAR images.

Identification and characterization of galloping of Tsuruga test line based on multi-channel modal analysis of field data [PDF]
In spite of several signal processing and system identification techniques, discussion on field-observed galloping of overhead transmission lines is still based on primitive form of field data such as time series, Lissajous diagrams and power spectra ...

Human Disturbance but Not Predation Risk Is Associated With Increased Vigilance in Roe Deer
Roe deer vigilance is lower in natural than in modified habitats, decreases with group size, but is not significantly influenced by stable wolf presence, suggesting habitat‐driven risk perception and reliance on spatial avoidance over increased alertness.
