A Characteristic of Angiographic Cone-beam CT
Angiographic cone-beam CT, called DynaCT by SIEMENS, is a 3D imaging tool reconstructed from projection data by a rotational C-arm with a flat panel detector. It can visualize low-contrast objects such as soft tissue or small vessels as well as high-contrast structures such as enhanced vessels or bone.

Abstract The Late Triassic–Early Jurassic fissures of the Bristol Channel area (southwest England and south Wales) are renowned for their diverse vertebrate faunas. These assemblages have yielded an array of predominantly small‐bodied forms that are crucial to our understanding of the early evolution of several major tetrapod clades.

Marine silicon for biomedical sustainability
Schematic illustrating marine silicon for biomedical engineering. Abstract Despite momentous divergence from oceanic origin, human beings and marine organisms exhibit elemental homology through silicon utilization. Notably, silicon serves as a critical constituent in multiple biomedical processes.

Post-Acquisition Small-Animal Respiratory Gated Imaging Using Micro Cone-Beam CT [PDF]
On many occasions, it is desirable to image lungs in vivo to perform a pulmonary physiology study. Since the lungs are moving, gating with respect to the ventilatory phase has to be performed in order to minimize motion artifacts.

Coherence Filtering to Enhance the Mandibular Canal in Cone-Beam CT data [PDF]
Segmenting the mandibular canal from cone beam CT data, is difficult due to low edge contrast and high image noise. We introduce 3D coherence filtering as a method to close the interrupted edges and denoise the structure of the mandibular canal ...
