Theoretical and experimental studies of a novel cone-jet sensor
Modeling of a novel cone-jet sensor using two-dimensional (2-D) finite element analysis was investigated for dimensional measurement. Theoretical and experimental studies demonstrated that a cone-jet sensor supplied with air can be used to accurately ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

On Properties of Semipositive Cones and Simplicial Cones
For a given nonsingular $n\times n$ matrix $A$, the cone $S_{A}=\{x:Ax\geq 0\}$ , and its subcone $K_A$ lying on the positive orthant, called as semipositive cone, are considered. If the interior of the semipositive cone $K_A$ is not empty, then $A$ is named as semipositive matrix. It is known that $K_A$ is a proper polyhedral cone.

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

Locality and causality properties of light cone string field theory [PDF]
The recent discovery of a new maximally supersymmetric background for the type IIB superstring theory has revived the interest in light cone string field theory.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Antibiotic Stewardship at transitions of care: identifying opportunities for antibiotic optimization
We conducted a cross-sectional study to identify the frequency of optimized oral antibiotic regimens at transitions of care (TOC) in patients diagnosed with respiratory, urinary tract, or skin structure infections. An optimal regimen was identified in 62.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
