Fixed-Point Results for Krasnoselskii, Meir–Keeler, and Boyd–Wong-Type Mappings with Applications to Dynamic Market Equilibrium

open access: yesAxioms
This paper introduces the idea of a cone m-hemi metric space, which extends the idea of an m-hemi metric space. By presenting non-trivial examples, we demonstrate the superiority of cone m-hemi metric spaces over m-hemi metric spaces.

Order Norm Completions of Cone Metric Spaces

open access: yesNumerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2011
In this article, a completion theorem for cone metric spaces and a completion theorem for cone normed spaces are proved. The completion spaces are constructed by means of an equivalence relation defined via an ordered cone norm on the Banach space E whose cone is strongly minihedral and ordered closed.

Pentagonal Cone b-metric Spaces over Banach Algebras and Fixed Point Theorem of Generalized Lipschitz Mapping

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the concept of pentagonal cone b-metric space over Banach algebras as a generalization of cone metric space over Banach algebras and many of its generalizations. Furthermore, we prove Banach fixed point theorem in such a space.

Balls in generalizations of metric spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
This paper discusses balls in partial b-metric spaces and cone metric spaces, respectively. Let ( X , p b ) $(X,p_{b})$ be a partial b-metric space in the sense of Mustafa et al. For the family △ of all p b $p_{b}$ -open balls in ( X , p b ) $(X,p_{b})$ ,

Some α−ϕ-Fuzzy Cone Contraction Results with Integral Type Application

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we define α-admissible and α-ϕ-fuzzy cone contraction in fuzzy cone metric space to prove some fixed point theorems. Some related sequences with contraction mappings have been discussed.

Fixed Point in Topological Vector Space-Valued Cone Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2010
AbstractWe obtain common fixed points of a pair of mappings satisfying a generalized contractive type condition in TVS-valued cone metric spaces. Our results generalize some well-known recent results in the literature.

Null Cones in Lorentz-Covariant General Relativity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The oft-neglected issue of the causal structure in the flat spacetime approach to Einstein's theory of gravity is considered. Consistency requires that the flat metric's null cone be respected, but this does not happen automatically.

Remarks on Some Recent Fixed Point Results on Quaternion-Valued Metric Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Very recently, Ahmed et al. introduced the notion of quaternion-valued metric as a generalization of metric and proved a common fixed point theorem in the context of quaternion-valued metric space.
