Extended Case-Based Reasoning for Intelligent System Configuration

2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation, 2010
To finish the system configuration quickly, the paper proposes an extended case-based reasoning for product configuration design. With matter-elements, reasoning model of Extended Case-Based Reasoning (ECBR), the similar degree between different parts can be calculated seriously.

THE MODULAR CONFIGURATION SYSTEM BASED ON CASE-BASED REASONING

Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Systems, 2012
Product configuration technology is the core of the modular design of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools. Combined with modular design technology and case-based reasoning (CBR) technology, this paper proposed a modular configuration design method based on CBR for CNC machine tools.

Reasoning Driven Configuration of Linked Data Content Management Systems

2014
The web of data has continued to expand thanks to the principles of Linked Data, increasing its impact on the web both in its depth and range of data sources. However tools allowing ordinary web users to contribute to this web of data are still lacking.

HORUS: a Configurable Reasoner for Dynamic Ontology Management

2014
This paper introduces HORUS (Human-readable Ontology Reasoner Unit System), a configurable reasoner which provides the user the motivations for every inferred knowledge in the context of a reasoning process. We describe the reasoner, how to write an inference rule and check which explicit knowledge was used to infer a new one.

Safety evaluation of process configuration by Case-Based reasoning

1998
An index based method for estimating the effect of process configuration on inherent safety has been presented. Process configuration means which operations are involved in the process and how they are connected together. An inherently safe process structure is not possible to define by explicite rules, but one has to rely on standards, recommendations
