Research on Stress–Strain Model of FRP-Confined Concrete Based on Compressive Fracture Energy

open access: yesBuildings
A numerical method is proposed for evaluating the axial stress–strain relationship of FRP-confined concrete. In this method, empirical formulae for the compressive strength and strain at peak stress of confined concrete are obtained by fitting ...

Mechanical behavior of confined self-compacting reinforced concrete circular columns under concentric axial loading

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2013
While there is abundant research information on ordinary confined concrete, there are little data on the behavior of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) under such condition.

Experimental Study on Fibre-reinforced Cementitious Matrix Confined Concrete Columns under Axial Compression [PDF]

open access: yesKemija u Industriji, 2017
Poor fire resistance of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) restricts its further application in construction structures. In this paper, a novel fibre-reinforced cementitious matrix confined concrete column (FRCMCC) using fireproof grout as the fibre matrix ...

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...
