Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Au confluent exactement : Deadlock (1921), Revolving Lights (1923) et The Trap (1925) de Dorothy Richardson

open access: yesÉtudes Britanniques Contemporaines, 2017
The word ‘confluence’ refers both to the place where two or more rivers meet and the fact that they start to flow together. This term is particularly apt to capture some of the paradoxes that characterize the three following chapters of Pilgrimage ...

Hierarchy of B\"acklund Transformation Groups of the Painlev\'e Systems

open access: yes, 2004
For each Painlev\'e system P_J except the first one, we have a B\"acklund transformation group which is a lift of an affine Weyl group. In this paper, we show that the B\"acklund transformation groups for J=V,IV,III,II are successively obtained from that

Tumor‐agnostic detection of circulating tumor DNA in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer using targeted DNA methylation sequencing and cell‐free DNA fragmentomics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We evaluated circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection in advanced pancreatic cancer using DNA methylation, cell‐free DNA fragment lengths, and 5′ end motifs. Machine learning models were trained to estimate ctDNA levels from each feature and their combination.

Introduction: Trying to Define Literature’s Confluences

open access: yesÉtudes Britanniques Contemporaines, 2017
Previous issues of Études britanniques contemporaines chose to focus on the agonistic dynamics of British literature and the arts. The present issue explores a paradigm which has hitherto received very little critical attention. The notion of ‘confluence’

Confluence

open access: yesRevista Latinoamericana de Etnomatemática, 2017
This position paper argues that ethnomathematics, while not a curriculum (nor a discipline, that is why D’Ambrosio call it a program), is a confluence of ideas and concepts that may lead to different mathematics engagement of our students. Just as water swirls together from multiple sources, so does our cognition when many ideas are brought together ...

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.
