Electrochemically Induced pH Change: Time-Resolved Confocal Fluorescence Microscopy Measurements and Comparison with Numerical Model [PDF]
Confocal fluorescence microscopy is a proven technique, which can image near-electrode pH changes. For a complete understanding of electrode processes, time-resolved measurements are required, which have not yet been provided. Here we present the first measurements of time-resolved pH profiles with confocal fluorescence microscopy.

Advanced glycation end products promote the release of endothelial cell‐derived mitocytosis
Under diabetic conditions, AGEs induce mitochondrial damage in HUVECs, activating migrasome‐mediated mitocytosis. Migrasomes encapsulate damaged mitochondria and are released into the extracellular space, facilitating intercellular mitochondrial transfer.

Development of novel one-shot full-field surface profilometer using chromatic confocal microscopy [PDF]
A novel full-field surface profilometer using diffractive-based chromatic confocal microscopy and area-scan spectral sensing is developed. A normalized cross correlation algorithm was developed to establish a spectrum-depth response curve. A measuring repeatability for a single surface depth can be controlled within 120 nanometers.

Versatile high-speed confocal microscopy using a single laser beam [PDF]
We present a new flexible high speed laser scanning confocal microscope and its extension by an astigmatism particle tracking device (APTV). Many standard confocal microscopes use either a single laser beam to scan the sample at relatively low overall frame rate, or many laser beam to simultaneously scan the sample and achieve a high overall frame rate.

Stem cell‐based embryo models (SCBEMs) are valuable to study early developmental milestones. Matrigel, a basement membrane matrix, is a critical substrate used in various SCBEM protocols, but its role in driving stem cell lineage commitment is not clearly defined.

Spatiotemporal Control Over Protein Release from Artificial Cells via a Light‐Activatable Protease
Stimulus‐responsive protein release is essential for intercellular communication. Mimicking this functionality in artificial cells is promising to study the working principles of cellular signaling. Herein, an engineered light‐activatable protease is implemented in a coacervate‐based artificial cell platform to establish user‐defined spatiotemporal ...

The paper explores the creation and characterization of vesicles through biocatalytic Polymerization‐Induced Self‐Assembly (bioPISA), focusing on achieving size uniformity using centrifugation techniques. It examines the effects of stirring speed on vesicle morphology and analyses the internal polymer‐rich structure using fluorescence correlation ...
