Fractional Rogue Waves with Translational Coordination, Steep Crest, and Modified Asymmetry
To construct fractional rogue waves, this paper first introduces a conformable fractional partial derivative. Based on the conformable fractional partial derivative and its properties, a fractional Schrödinger (NLS) equation with Lax integrability is ...

Precise interpretation of the conformable fractional derivative
Let $ \in\,]0,1[$. We prove that the existence of the conformable fractional derivative $T_ f$ of a function $f:[0,\infty[\,\longrightarrow \mathbb{R}$ introduced by Khalil et al. in [R. Khalil, M. Al Horani, A. Yousef, M. Sababheh, A new definition of fractional derivative, J. Comput. Appl. Math.

Synthetic Chromatophores for Color and Pattern Morphing Skins
Cephalopods use chromatophore organs (muscle‐actuated pigment sacs) to alter their skin color and pattern. Synthetic chromatophores, which closely mimic the mechano‐optical process found in cephalopods using stimuli‐responsive microscale hydrogel actuators, are reported.

An all aqueous synthesis of poly(ethylene glycol)‐amide‐norbornene‐carboxylate (PEGaNBCA) is developed via reacting carbic anhydride with amino‐terminated PEG. PEGaNBCA is readily crosslinked into hydrogels by click chemistries. PEGaNBCA crosslinked thiol‐norbornene hydrogels are hydrolytically stable but can be rendered hydrolytically labile through ...
