Molecular Adsorbing Host•Guest (MAHG) Crystals: A New Paradigm for Porous Materials?

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Networking! Introduction of guest molecules in macrocycles before crystallization profoundly influences the material obtained in terms of structure and function. Beside simplicity and porous space improvement, this approach is endowed with a huge potential given the myriad of potential guest molecules that can be used to tune this burgeoning class of ...

Gauss-Bonnet for matrix conformally rescaled Dirac [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2018
We derive an explicit formula for the scalar curvature over a two-torus with a Dirac operator conformally rescaled by a globally diagonalizable matrix. We show that the Gauss-Bonnet theorem holds and extends the result to all Riemann surfaces with Dirac operators modified in the same way.

Regulated Ion‐Diffusion Hydrogels for Subtle and Multimodal Temperature‐Strain Sensing in Wound Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).

CONFORMING IDENTIFICATION OF THE FUNDAMENTAL MATRIX IN THE IMAGE MATCHING PROBLEM

open access: yesComputer Optics, 2017
The article considers the conforming identification of the fundamental matrix in the image matching problem. The method consists in the division of the initial overdetermined system into lesser dimensional subsystems. On these subsystems, a set of solutions is obtained, from which a subset of the most conforming solutions is defined.
