G2 geometry and integrable systems

open access: yes, 2009
We study the Hitchin component in the space of representations of the fundamental group of a Riemann surface into a split real Lie group in the rank 2 case.

Swelling‐Programmed Topographical Guidance for Dynamic Spheroid Self‐Assembly via a Mechanochemical Hydrogel Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A swelling‐programmed micropatterned hydrogel guides adherent cells through a controlled transition from cell–matrix anchoring to cadherin‐mediated cell–cell compaction, enabling rapid assembly of high‐viability spheroids with defined size and morphology.

Geometric Reinterpretation of Partial Differential Equations and Applications

open access: yesGeometry
We obtain improved regularity estimates on solutions of partial differential equations by combining the method of Fuchsian Reduction with geometric transformations. Examples include the meron problem and the regularity of the conformal radius.

Free field primaries in general dimensions: counting and construction with rings and modules

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We define lowest weight polynomials (LWPs), motivated by so(d, 2) representation theory, as elements of the polynomial ring over d × n variables obeying a system of first and second order partial differential equations.

Design Strategies and Emerging Applications of High‐Performance Flexible Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

The AdS/CFT correspondence and generalized geometry

open access: yes, 2011
The most general AdS$_5 imes Y$ solutions of type IIB string theory that are AdS/CFT dual to superconformal field theories in four dimensions can be fruitfully described in the language of generalized geometry, a powerful hybrid of complex and symplectic

Aspects of overdetermined systems of partial differential equations in projective and conformal geometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This thesis discusses aspects of overdetermined systems of partial differential equations (PDEs) in projective and conformal geometry. The first part deals with projective differential geometry.

Engineering Intelligent Graphene Oxide‐Cellulose Membranes: Suppressing Thermal Runaway for a Safer Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel thermos‐responsive hydroxypropyl cellulose/graphene oxide (HPC/GO) composite membrane is fabricated for reversible temperature‐gated ion transport in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Enabled by LCST‐driven structural transition, unimpeded ion diffusion at room temperature delivers high capacity, while elevated temperature suppresses transport; full ...

The Cartan-Weyl Conformal Geometry of a Pair of Second-OrderPartial-Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
: We explore the conformal geometric structures of a pair of second-order partial-differential equations. In particular, we investigate the conditions under which this geometry is conformal to the vacuum Einsteinequations of general relativity ...

Polymer Interface Enables Reversible Quasi‐Solid Sulfur Conversion in Sodium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polymer interface enables a stable quasi‐solid sulfur conversion pathway in room‐temperature Na─S batteries. The coating regulates Na+ transport, stabilizes the cathode–electrolyte interphase, and accommodates mechanical stress, suppressing electrolyte decomposition and sulfur migration, thereby improving reaction uniformity, reducing polarization,
