Bimodal Mechanoluminescence Enables Multicolor Luminescent Tailing for Ultra‐Accurate Loading Speed Visualization and Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MgF2 exhibits a speed‐dependent mechanoluminescence (ML) color distribution arising from distinct ML lifetimes, showing blue emission under slow sliding and multicolor emission under fast sliding. A promising method for evaluating ML lifetime is proposed based on the trailing effect. By synergistically integrating instantaneous and persistent ML with a

Optical Charge Trap Memory Based on Graphene/ZnO Heterostructures for Long‐Term Retention and Adaptive Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A biocompatible graphene/ZnO optical charge trap memory (CTM) is reported with over 54 h retention, enabled by interfacial photodoping. Using transient absorption spectroscopy and electrical analysis, charge transfer quenching is elucidated and reveal that a large energy barrier at the interface is responsible for long‐term memory retention.

Advances in Thermoelectric Thin Films Grown by Atomic Layer Deposition: A Critical Review of Performance and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the use of atomic layer deposition (ALD) for fabricating thermoelectric thin films with atomic‐scale control. Four material classes—chalcogenides, doped oxides, ternary oxides, and multilayered structures—are compared in terms of growth dynamics, structure–property relationships, and thermoelectric performance. The precise tuning
