Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, 2002Congenital entropion and atrichosis of the lower eyelids associated with tarsal hypoplasia is a rare condition, with isolated reports in the literature and without previous pathologic examination.Case report. A father and son with mild entropion, lower eyelash atrichosis, and tarsal hypoplasia are described.

Congenital entropion and hypotropia secondary to duplication of the inferior rectus muscle
Journal of American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, 2017Congenital anomalies of the extraocular muscles apart from congenital fibrosis are relatively rare. Duplication of extraocular muscles is a particularly rare congenital anomaly that has been rarely reported in the literature. We present a case of unilateral congenital entropion and hypotropia resulting from duplication of the inferior rectus muscle.

All of the patients demonstrated lack of cutaneous-capsulopalpebral fascia attachment.

Congenital entropion in a litter of rabbits.
Laboratory animal science, 1980Conjunctivitis and blepharospasm were observed in a litter of four, 2-week-old New Zealand white rabbits. Corneal opacity and neovascularization of the cornea and entropion of the upper eyelids were observed when the rabbits were examined 10 weeks later. Conjunctival cultures of these rabbits yielded normal bacterial flora.
