We present a genome assembly from an individual Conger conger (the European conger eel; Chordata; Actinopteri; Anguilliformes; Congridae). The genome sequence spans 1,136.40 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 19 chromosomal pseudomolecules.
