Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Metallogeny of Manto-type copper deposits in the northwest and west of Bardaskan, Razavi Khorasan with a special view in Nasim, Mes-e-Sorkh and Zarmehr mines

open access: yesJournal of Economic Geology
Manto-type copper mines in the Bardaskan-Doruneh metallogenic belt are located in the northwest and west of Bardaskan, Razavi Khorasan province. Hydrothermal solution has a special chemistry, including rich of copper and poor of gold, silver, lead, zinc,

What do internal capital markets do ? Redistribution vs. incentives [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we explain the apparent "diversification discount” of conglomerates without assuming inefficient-cross subsidisation through internal capital markets.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Control mechanism of surface settlement in mining face by high and thick conglomerate

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan
In order to study the control mechanism of surface subsidence by the high and huge thick conglomerate strata after working face mining, the typical working face of west 11th mining area of Gaozhuang Coal Mine is taken as the background, and the research ...
