Anchoring Redox Mediator on COFs for Efficient Solar to Hydrogen Conversion. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Mater
In this work, Fe ions are first fixed on COFs skeleton to construct a novel 2D Z‐scheme heterojunction (BWO/Fe/TP1C). The cycling of Fe3+/Fe2+ significantly improves the electron transfer rate. In addition, the construction of 2D Z‐scheme heterojunction not only promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers but also ensures its high redox activity.

Explores the behavior of carbon in minerals, melts, and fluids under extreme conditions

Carbon trapped in diamonds and carbonate-bearing rocks in subduction zones are examples of the continuing exchange of substantial carbon ...

Behavioral implications of shortlisting procedures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider two-stage “shortlisting procedures” in which the menu of alternatives is first pruned by some process or criterion and then a binary relation is maximized.

On the congruence subgroup problem for branch groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We answer a question of Bartholdi, Siegenthaler and Zalesskii, showing that the congruence subgroup problem for branch groups is independent of the branch action on a tree.

The Hyperbolic Lattice Point Count in Infinite Volume with Applications to Sieves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We develop novel techniques using abstract operator theory to obtain asymptotic formulae for lattice counting problems on infinite-volume hyperbolic manifolds, with error terms which are uniform as the lattice moves through "congruence" subgroups.

Lifting retracted diagrams with respect to projectable functors

open access: yes, 2004
We prove a general categorical theorem that enables us to state that under certain conditions, the range of a functor is large. As an application, we prove various results of which the following is a prototype: If every diagram, indexed by a lattice, of ...

Permutations of Massive Vacua [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We discuss the permutation group G of massive vacua of four-dimensional gauge theories with N=1 supersymmetry that arises upon tracing loops in the space of couplings.

Elementary notions of lattice trigonometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper we study properties of lattice trigonometric functions of lattice angles in lattice geometry. We introduce the definition of sums of lattice angles and establish a necessary and sufficient condition for three angles to be the angles of some

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Congruence Lattices of Certain Finite Algebras with Three Commutative Binary Operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A partial algebra construction of Gr\"atzer and Schmidt from "Characterizations of congruence lattices of abstract algebras" (Acta Sci. Math. (Szeged) 24 (1963), 34-59) is adapted to provide an alternative proof to a well-known fact that every finite ...
