Thermomechanical Analysis of Continuous Bamboo Strips Reinforced Vanillin‐Based Epoxy Resin Composites

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 8, February 20, 2026.
Thermomechanical properties of vanillin‐based epoxy resin/continuous bamboo strips composites. ABSTRACT The majority of thermosetting epoxy resins employed in organic composites are petroleum‐based and impacted by REACh regulation. However, research is undertaken to make epoxy resins greener.

Transcriptome and biochemical analyses reveal phenolic compounds-mediated flavor differences in loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) cultivars Chunhua No.1 and Dawuxing

open access: yesFood Chemistry: X
The novel loquat cultivar ‘Chunhua No.1′ (CH1) is a promising commercial cultivar. However, CH1 has texture characteristics different from those of common loquat, and its formation mechanism remains unclear.

Structural Colors from Ultrathin Lignin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 5, 2 February 2026.
Thickness‐dependent structural colors in ultrathin lignin films generate a full visible palette, tuned simply by solution concentration and spin speed. Abstract Structural colors offer a sustainable alternative to toxic pigments and dyes, yet their realization from lignin, the most abundant aromatic biopolymer, has remained elusive.

Effect of Polysaccharides on Dehydropolymerization of Coniferyl Alcohol [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
この論文は国立情報学研究所の学術雑誌公開支援事業により電子化されました。Molecular weights of DHPs of coniferyl alcohol prepared in the presence of beech hemicellulose and pectic acid a little increased as compared with that of DHP prepared in the absence of the polysaccharides.

Exploiting members of the BAHD acyltransferase family to synthesize multiple hydroxycinnamate and benzoate conjugates in yeast [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
BACKGROUND: BAHD acyltransferases, named after the first four biochemically characterized enzymes of the group, are plant-specific enzymes that catalyze the transfer of coenzyme A-activated donors onto various acceptor molecules. They are responsible for

Effect of Water on Electrochemical β‐Hydrocarboxylation of Vinylphenol Derivatives With CO2

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
Electrochemical hydrocarboxylation of vinylphenols with CO2 was accomplished under mild conditions in an undivided cell without the use of a sacrificial anode. Optimal conditions using tetraethylammonium p‐toluenesulfonate (Et4NOTs), water, and a low current density enabled the efficient synthesis of carboxylic acids from vinylphenol derivatives in the

5,5’-type coniferyl alcohol dimer as a potential lignin precursor: an investigation of reactivity in dehydrogenative polymerization

open access: yesJournal of Wood Science
The 5–5’-type substructure in lignin is an important structure in that it can contribute to molecular branching as well as being condensed structure. To validate the involvement of the 5–5’-type dimer in lignin formation, 5,5’-dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol (

Generation and analysis of an Eucalyptus globulus cDNA library constructed from seedlings subjected to low temperature conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Indexación: ScieloEucalyptus globulus is the most important commercial temperate hardwood in the world because of its wood properties and due to its characteristics for biofuel production. However, only a very low number of expressed sequence tags (ESTs)

Depolymerisation of γ‐Valerolactone Organosolv Lignins with Unsupported Molybdenum‐Based Catalysts

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 3, February 2026.
Lignins from γ‐valerolactone organosolv fractionation were depolymerised in ethanol using unsupported molybdenum catalysts. Over 90% yields of low‐molecular‐weight lignin oil were obtained with minimal char formation, yields of the aromatic monomers being 7–16 wt%.
