A multimodal cortical network of sensory expectation violation revealed by fMRI
Mismatch responses to tri‐modal roving stimulus sequences revealed a fronto‐parietal network of expectation violation shared across audition, somatosensation and vision. The intraparietal network hub showed specific sensitivity for cross‐modal predictability of stimulus transitions embedded in the multi‐modal sequence configuration.

Abstract Background and Objectives Adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) can be given to melanoma patients following salvage surgery for node field recurrence after a previous regional node dissection, but the value of this treatment strategy is poorly documented. This study evaluated long‐term node field control and survival of patients treated in this way in an

Abstract As artificial intelligence (AI) technologies become more ubiquitous for streamlining and optimizing work, they are entering fields representing organizational logics at odds with the efficiency logic of automation. Recommender systems for fossil community distribution modelling
Abstract We propose to leverage recommender systems from machine learning to build large‐scale community distribution models for the mammalian fossil record. Recommender systems are behind most online life today, from shopping to news personalisation, online dating, or the selection of study programmes or fastest routes.

Clinical aspects of a large group of adults with Angelman syndrome
Abstract Descriptions of the clinical features of Angelman syndrome (AS) have mainly been focused on children. Here, we describe the evolution of the clinical phenotypes of AS in adulthood, using clinical data from 95 individuals (mean age 31.6 years, median 29.0 years, range 18–83 years), with genetically confirmed AS.

Romiplostim, a thrombopoietin‐receptor agonist (TPO‐ra), is a highly effective option in primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), with 80–90% of patients achieving platelet responses after few weeks of treatment. The evidence showing remissions, that is, sustained platelet counts after romiplostim discontinuation, in patients with ITP refractory to ...

Radiotherapy (RT) and interferon‐alfa‐2b (IFN α‐2b) have individually been used for adjuvant therapy stage III melanoma with high‐risk pathologic features. We hypothesized that concurrent adjuvant RT and IFN α‐2b may decrease the risk of regional recurrence following surgery with acceptable toxicity.

The Scutulum and the Pre‐Auricular Aponeurosis in Bats
The scutulum is not a simple sesamoid element in bats. Its relative size and shape vary amongst taxa. These range from relatively flat structures to derived forms where they exist as socket joints for the pinna during a wide range of movements. This novel modification reduces the area available for the attachment of auricular musculature. To compensate,
