ABSTRACT This article critically examines Dipesh Chakrabarty's concept of Anthropocene history, a philosophy of history that is designed to respond to the universal challenge of the Anthropocene. It uses the work of Maurice Merleau‐Ponty to mitigate the pitfalls of Chakrabarty's concept and to propose an alternative relation between nature and history.

Rational determination of real‐life UV exposure across latitudes: An extended Diffey‐based model integrating behavioural factors

International Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
This study models real‐life UVB and UVA exposure across latitudes and seasons using an extended Diffey framework with behavioural corrections. Findings reveal predictable dose patterns and support pragmatic SPF and UVA‐PF caps, offering a quantitative basis for realistic photoprotection and regulatory discussion.
