COPRIME CONJUGACY CLASS SIZES [PDF]
We consider finite groups in which every triple of distinct conjugacy class sizes greater than one has a pair which is coprime. We prove such a group is soluble and has conjugate rank at most three.

Counting conjugacy classes and automorphism-conjugacy classes of ZM-groups
In this paper, we count the number of conjugacy and automorphism-conjugacy classes of elements of a ZM-group. The size of a conjugacy class with respect to these two equivalence relations is also counted.

Restrictions on sets of conjugacy class sizes in arithmetic progressions [PDF]
We continue the investigation, that began in [M. Bianchi, A. Gillio and P. P. Pálfy, A note on finite groups in which the conjugacy class sizes form an arithmetic progression, Ischia group theory 2010, World Sci. Publ., Hackensack, NJ (2012) 20--25.] and

Commuting conjugacy classes graph of the generalized dihedral and dicyclic groups [PDF]
Suppose $G$ is a finite non-abelian group and $\Gamma(G)$ is a simple graph with the non-central conjugacy classes of $G$ as its vertex set. Two different non-central conjugacy classes $A$ and $B$ are assumed to be adjacent if and only if there are ...

Conjugacy classes of big mapping class groups [PDF]
We describe the topological behavior of the conjugacy action of the mapping class group of an orientable infinite‐type surface Σ$\Sigma$ on itself by proving that: (1)all conjugacy classes of Map(Σ)$\operatorname{Map}(\Sigma )$ are meager for every Σ ...

Commuting Conjugacy Class Graph of G when G / Z(G)~=D2n [PDF]
Suppose G is a finite non-abelian group and Γ(G) is a simple graph with the non-central conjugacy classes of G as its vertex set. Two different noncentral conjugacy classes C and B are assumed to be adjacent in Γ(G) if and only if there are elements a ...

Classification of the Morse – Smale flows on surfaces with a finite moduli of stability number in sense of topological conjugacy [PDF]
Purpose. The purpose of this study is to consider the class of Morse – Smale flows on surfaces, to characterize its subclass consisting of flows with a finite number of moduli of stability, and to obtain a topological classification of such flows ...

Cordial elements and dimensions of affine Deligne–Lusztig varieties
The affine Deligne–Lusztig variety $X_w(b)$ in the affine flag variety of a reductive group ${\mathbf G}$ depends on two parameters: the $\sigma $ -conjugacy class $[b]$ and the element w in the Iwahori–Weyl group $\tilde ...

Conjugacy classes contained in normal subgroups: an overview [PDF]
We survey known results concerning how the conjugacy classes contained in a normal subgroup and their sizes exert an influence on the normal structure of a finite group.
