Conjugated Polymers for Photocatalysis
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2007The photocatalytic properties of the conjugated polymers have been investigated for the first time. Degradation of various textile dyes such as Alizarin S, Alizarin G, Orange G, and Remazol brilliant blue were studied under UV radiation. The experimental data indicated that the photocatalytic activity of the conjugated polymers was significantly higher

Imprinted Conjugated Polymer Laser
Advanced Materials, 2003The realization of a distributed feedback structure by direct imprinting into a highly luminescent conjugated polymer and the subsequent lasing action from the structure (see cover) is reported. The fabrication is achieved using liquid imprinting; a new soft‐lithographic technique, which is a combination of two established techniques: micromolding in ...

Sulfur-Containing Conjugated Polymers
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1997Herein we present new synthetic approaches to sulfur containing polymers. The synthesis of poly(phenantrolinebisthiazole) (PPT), poly(phenylenesulfidephenyleneamine) (PPSA), poly(tetrathiafulvalene) (PTTF), sulfur containing [n]acenes and donor-acceptor substituted poly(phenylenevinylene) (PPV) is described.

Viscoelastic Conjugated Polymer Fluids
Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2019AbstractThe introduction of optoelectronic functions into viscoelastic polymers can yield highly sophisticated soft materials for biomedical devices and autonomous robotics. However, viscoelasticity and excellent optoelectronic properties are difficult to achieve because the presence of a large number of π‐conjugated moieties drastically stiffens a ...

Microfabricating Conjugated Polymer Actuators
Science, 2000Conjugated polymer actuators can be operated in aqueous media, which makes them attractive for laboratories-on-a-chip and applications under physiological conditions. One of the most stable conjugated polymers under these conditions is polypyrrole, which can be patterned by means of standard photolithography.

Metallocene-containing conjugated polymers
Advances in Colloid and Interface Science, 2008The paper gives a review of publications on polymers with conjugated matrices (PPy, PTh, PAni, hydrocarbon or mixed chains...) which incorporate metallocene complexes (Fe, Ru, Co; Ni, Ti, Zr, Ta) with two cyclopentadienyl ligands (Cp) and their derivatives, in particular with methylated cyclopentadienyl rings (Cp*), as well as hemi-metallocene ...

Biosynthetic-Synthetic Polymer Conjugates
Polymer Reviews, 2007Materials scientists have become increasingly interested in combining natural and synthetic polymers into hybrid polymeric structures. The functionality of (fragments of) biopolymers can be integrated with the synthetic versatility and adaptability of synthetic polymers, thus creating a new class of materials harnessing the best of both worlds.
