Development of a Conjunctivitis Outpatient Rate Prediction Model Incorporating Ambient Ozone and Meteorological Factors in South Korea

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2018
Ozone (O3) is a commonly known air pollutant that causes adverse health effects. This study developed a multi-level prediction model for conjunctivitis in outpatients due to exposure to O3 by using 3 years of ambient O3 data, meteorological data, and ...

Dupilumab's Real‐World Efficacy and Safety Across Age Groups for Children and Adolescents With Paediatric Atopic Dermatitis

open access: yesAustralasian Journal of Dermatology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Dupilumab is an anti‐interleukin (IL)‐4 receptor (IL‐4Rα) monoclonal antibody used to manage atopic dermatitis (AD). There is a paucity of real‐world Australian data for dupilumab in paediatric AD, especially regarding differences in clinical profiles between age groups.

Novel Bispecific Engagers Targeting the CεmX Domain of mIgE‐Expressing Cells

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
We developed bispecific TCE & NKCE targeting the CεmX domain of mIgE to eliminate IgE‐producing cells. Both constructs demonstrated potent, specific, dose‐dependent cytotoxicity and selective immune activation in vitro. These results highlight their promise as off‐the‐shelf, potentially curative therapeutics for IgE‐associated allergic diseases ...

Integrated Clinical Trial and Molecular Profiling Reveals Immune Drivers of Chronic Hand Eczema

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study performed an unbiased molecular profiling of CHE patients across diverse etiologies to identify shared pathogenic drivers and evaluate the impact of IL‐4Rα blockade via dupilumab over 16 weeks. CHE shows a mixed immune signature involving type 1, 2, and 3 pathways with features of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
