ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

We report the national burden of dermatopolymyositis mortality over the past quarter century using the US national vital statistics data. Age‐standardized mortality rates for dermatopolymyositis decreased at an annual rate of 3.8% each year, which was higher than the annual percent decrease for deaths from all other causes.

Connectives: Conjunctions, Disjunctions and Negations
In fuzzy logic, the law of contradiction and the law of excluded middle are, in general, false. However, because of their intuitive appeal, it is reasonable to study fuzzy logical systems, where these laws hold. In this chapter, we give a full description of consistent conjunction, disjunction, and negation triples in such systems.

A general concept of fuzzy connectives, negations and implications based on t-norms and t-conorms
Since Zadeh introduced the concept of fuzzy sets and proposed proper connectives and negation many authors proposed other definitions for connectives and negations. In this paper, the author investigates which of the classical laws of distributivity, De Morgan, excluded middle, and non-contradiction can be preserved giving various constructions and ...

Negation introduced with the unary connective
In the first part of this paper (Mendez and Robles 2008) a minimal and an intuitionistic negation is introduced in a wide spectrum of relevance logics extending Routley and Meyer's basic positive logic B+. It is proved that although all these logics have the characteristic paradoxes of consistency, they lack the K rule (and so, the K axiom).

Fuzzy Negation and Other Weak Fuzzy Connectives
This paper deals with some dependencies between fuzzy negations and other fuzzy connectives. The generalized laws of contradiction and excluded middle are considered. Methods for generating fuzzy negation from fuzzy conjunction, disjunction or fuzzy implication together with another fuzzy negation are also presented.
