The connectivity of neuronal systems is their most fundamental characteristic. Here, we focus on recent developments in understanding structural and functional connectivity at the macroscale, which is accessible with current imaging technology. Structural connectivity is examined via diffusion weighted imaging methods, of which diffusion tensor imaging

From Connected People, Connected Things, to Connected Intelligence
2020 2nd 6G Wireless Summit (6G SUMMIT), 2020People tend to overestimate what can be done in one year and to underestimate what can be done in ten years. To get prepared, people have started to ask what the next generation would look like while 5G mobile cellular network is still at its first year of commercial deployment.

To connect or not to connect isolated patches
Journal of Theoretical Biology, 2015Empirical evidence suggests that dispersal can have different effects on the time evolution of a spatially structured population. In this study, we explored the impact of the migration rate in a coupled map lattice system. To capture this impact, we assumed symmetric dispersal and simple dynamics in the local populations.

Connectivity is a technique that uses functional MRI (fMRI) to explore global brain function in healthy and diseased states. Connectivity is now being studied as a part of global brain function in major national and international studies. It is, therefore, timely to review its relevance to anaesthesia.Dynamic connectivity in the brain, which transcends
