Summary: Functional connectome gradients represent fundamental organizing principles of the brain. Here, we report the development of the connectome gradients in preterm and term babies aged 31–42 postmenstrual weeks using task-free functional MRI and ...

Abstract Objectives Neonates with critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) are at risk for adverse early brain development and long‐term neurodevelopmental sequelae. Insulin‐like growth factor‐1 (IGF‐1) and insulin‐like growth factor binding protein‐3 (IGFBP‐3) are essential contributors to brain growth and maturation.

An 8‐week WMT reduced the reaction time of the memory task and increased CT and FD in specific brain regions. MSN analysis of CT and FD reveals notable nodal topological changes in certain areas. Additionally, PLS analysis revealed strong links between WMT‐induced microstructural changes and gene transcript expression.
