Functional neurology, 2013
One of the most fascinating challenges in neuroscience is the reconstruction of the connectivity map of the brain. Recent years have seen a rapid expansion in the field of connectomics, whose aim is to trace this map and understand its relationship with neural computation.

Physical Review E, 2019
Brain connectivity and structure-function relationships are analyzed from a physical perspective in place of common graph-theoretic and statistical approaches that overwhelmingly ignore the brain's physical structure and geometry. Field theory is used to define connectivity tensors in terms of bare and dressed propagators, and discretized ...

Connectomics of neurodegeneration
Nature Neuroscience, 2019Misfolded protein aggregates are a classical hallmark of many neurodegenerative diseases. By combining a mouse model of misfolded protein injection and a brain network model of misfolded protein diffusion, a study now finds a strong link between the stereotypical spreading patterns of neurodegeneration, protein expression and anatomical connectivity.

An up-to-date overview of the field of connectomics, introducing concepts and mechanisms underlying brain network change at different stages. The human brain undergoes massive changes during its development, from early childhood and the teenage years to adulthood and old age. Across a wide range of species, from C.
