Thermal and Structural Reconstruction of an Eroded Foreland Basin: Central Appalachian Basin, USA
New low‐temperature thermochronology and modelling reveal a complex thermal history for the central Appalachian Basin. Results indicate Carboniferous exhumation of the fold‐thrust belt and Mesozoic heating in the foredeep linked to the Rome Trough. Deeply buried Devonian source rocks were consequently pushed past the peak oil and gas windows.

Abstract In the Csővár area of north‐central Hungary a remarkably well‐preserved Rhaetian radiolarian fauna, in which conodonts were also found, has enabled the identification of 49 radiolarian species belonging to 35 genera.
