Revisiting consensus protocols through wait-free parallelization [PDF]
The recent surge of blockchain systems has renewed the interest in traditional Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus protocols. Many such consensus protocols have a primary-backup design in which an assigned replica, the primary, is responsible for coordinating the consensus protocol.

Objective Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue. Almost everyone with fibromyalgia has sleep problems. We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of current interventions for the management of fibromyalgia‐related sleep problems.

Receding Horizon Control Based Consensus Scheme in General Linear Multi-agent Systems [PDF]
This paper investigates the consensus problem of general linear multi-agent systems under the framework of optimization. A novel distributed receding horizon control (RHC) strategy for consensus is proposed. We show that the consensus protocol generated by the unconstrained distributed RHC can be expressed in an explicit form.

Objective Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a known comorbidity of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and is associated with PsA disease activity. We aimed to explore the association between MetS and radiographic features (peripheral and axial) in PsA. Methods We included patients with PsA followed at our prospective observational cohort for the period between 1978 ...

Event-Triggered Consensus for Linear Continuous-time Multi-agent Systems Based on a Predictor [PDF]
In this paper, the problem of event-triggered consensus for linear continuous-time multi-agent systems is investigated. A new event-triggered consensus protocol based on a predictor is proposed to achieve consensus without continuous communication among agents. In the proposed consensus protocol, each agent only needs to monitor its states to determine

Consensus Analysis for High-Order Multi-Agent Systems without or with Delays
This paper studies the consensus problem for a high-order multi-agent systems without or with delays. Consensus protocols, which only depend on the own partial information of agents and partial relative information with its neighbors, are proposed for ...

Objective Patients with knee osteoarthritis rely on symptomatic treatments, in which up to 75% of the pain reduction can be attributed to the placebo effect. This effect may vary based on treatment type (eg, biologics vs nonbiologic injection) and route of administration (eg, intra‐articular vs topical vs oral).

Average Consensus by Graph Filtering: New Approach, Explicit Convergence Rate and Optimal Design [PDF]
This paper revisits the problem of multi-agent consensus from a graph signal processing perspective. Describing a consensus protocol as a graph spectrum filter, we present an effective new approach to the analysis and design of consensus protocols in the graph spectrum domain for the uncertain networks, which are difficult to handle by the existing ...
