Testing the Effectiveness of Synthetic Chemical Lures to Increase Fruit Bat‐Mediated Seed Dispersal in a Tropical Forest

This study investigates the use of synthetic chemical lures to attract fruit‐eating bats and enhance seed dispersal in northeastern Costa Rica. The lures significantly increased the capture of Carollia spp., a key seed disperser, and boosted seed rain.
