Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

The ergodic decomposition of conservative Baire measures
Certain topological conditions on a Markov transition function are shown sufficient for an integral representation of conservative invariant Baire measures. The analysis incorporates the Choquet-Bishop-de Leeuw extension of the Krein-Milman theorem.

Entropy splitting for high-order numerical simulation of compressible turbulence [PDF]
A stable high-order numerical scheme for direct numerical simulation (DNS) of shock-free compressible turbulence is presented. The method is applicable to general geometries. It contains no upwinding, artificial dissipation, or filtering.

Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.

Rational Pavelka predicate logic is a conservative extension of Lukasiewicz predicate logic
Rational Pavelka logic extends Lukasiewicz infinitely valued logic by adding truth constants for rationals in [0,1]. We show that this is a conservative extension. We note that this shows that provability degree can be defined in Lukasiewicz logic.

Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including

We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...
