Spatiotemporal Characterization of the Functional MRI Latency Structure with Respect to Neural Signaling and Brain Hierarchy. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
Resting‐state fMRI captures intrinsic brain activity, yet the physical significance of latency structures remains unclear. In this study, the spatiotemporal properties of fMRI‐derived latency structures are examined by linking them to biophysical model‐based neural functions, intrinsic neural timescales, and functional gradients.

Polygenic risk score of Alzheimer's disease is associated with cognitive trajectories and phenotypes of cerebral organoids. [PDF]

open access: yesAlzheimers Dement
Abstract INTRODUCTION Polygenic risk score (PRS) identifies individuals at high genetic risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD), but its utility in predicting cognitive trajectories and AD pathologies remains unclear. We optimized PRS (optPRS) for AD, investigated its association with cognitive trajectories and AD phenotypes of cerebral organoids.

A Hierarchically Structured, Stretchable, Anti-Biofouling Encapsulation for Biodegradable Electronics. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Healthc Mater
A soft, stretchable, anti‐biofouling encapsulant is developed by integrating organosilicon nanowire networks with microstructured biodegradable elastomers. The hierarchical surface exhibits superhydrophobicity and enhances water barrier properties by 420% over pristine polymers, while preserving mechanical integrity.
