Consistency of Cheeger and Ratio Graph Cuts
This paper establishes the consistency of a family of graph-cut-based algorithms for clustering of data clouds. We consider point clouds obtained as samples of a ground-truth measure. We investigate approaches to clustering based on minimizing objective functionals defined on proximity graphs of the given sample.

Simulation Experiments for Improving the Consistency Ratio of Reciprocal Matrices [PDF]
The consistency issue is one of the hot research topics in the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and analytic network process (ANP). To identify the most inconsistent elements for improving the consistency ratio of a reciprocal pairwise comparison matrix (PCM), a bias matrix can be induced to efficiently identify the most inconsistent elements, which is

The consistent behavior of negative Poisson's ratio with interlayer interactions
Our study performed a comprehensive investigation of the Negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) considering the effect of interlayer interactions in multi-layers and heterostructures, where the physical origins are revealed from the view of the electronic orbitals.

Strong consistency for delta sequence ratios [PDF]
Almost sure convergence for ratios of delta functions establishes global and local strong consistency for a variety of estimates and data generations. For instance, the empirical probability function from independent identically distributed random vectors, the empirical distribution for univariate independent identically distributed observations, and ...

On Consistency of the Omega Ratio with Stochastic Dominance Rules [PDF]
Omega ratios have been introduced in [1] as a performance measure to compare the performance of different investment opportunities. It does not have some of the drawbacks of the famous Sharpe ratio. In particular, it is consistent with first order stochastic dominance. Omega ratios also have an interesting relation to expectiles, which found increasing
