Progressive Automated Formal Verification of Memory Consistency in Parallel Processors

open access: yes, 2021
In recent years, single-threaded hardware performance has stagnated due to transistor-level limitations stemming from the end of Moore's Law and Dennard scaling.

Evaluation of the consistency of a speech verification system with human raters in early literacy screening assessments

open access: yesFrontiers in Education
This study investigates the use of a speech verification system (SVS) technology, a form of automatic speech recognition (ASR), in the assessment of children's reading skills.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

A Consistency Checking Method for Erasure-Coded Striped Data

open access: yesShanghai Jiaotong Daxue xuebao
Erasure code is commonly used in distributed storage systems. The stripe is the basic unit of consistency check in erasure-coded data, including multiple original stripe units and verification stripe units.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Formal verification of consistency between feature model and software architecture in software product line

open access: yes, 2007
During software development process, software artifacts are produced. Consistency among these artifacts should be verified to ensure error-free product.

Consistency, Verification, and Validation of Turbulence Models for Reynolds-Averaged Navier—stokes Applications

open access: yes, 2010
In current practice, it is often difficult to draw firm conclusions about turbulence model accuracy when performing multi-code computational fluid dynamics studies ostensibly using the same model because of inconsistencies in model formulation or ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Consistency Management for Security Annotations for Continuous Verification

open access: yesProceedings of the ACM/IEEE 27th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems
Analyses on the architecture of systems can yield valuable insights into a system even before it is built. The applicability of the results of these design time analyses to the system requires the system to be built according to its specification, i.e., to not violate constraints defined on the architecture.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
