Commodity risk assessment of Vitis spp. plants from Moldova

Abstract The European Commission requests EFSA to provide scientific opinions in the field of plant health in accordance with Article 29 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002. Annex VI of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 lists plants, plant products and other objects whose introduction into the Union from certain third countries is prohibited.

Nitrogen content of herbarium specimens from arable fields and mesic meadows reflect the intensifying agricultural management during the 20th century

Plant communities of agricultural habitats in Central Europe are directly impacted by management intensification. Using spectroscopic methods, leaf functional trait data were non‐destructively derived from herbarium specimens, showing an increase in leaf nitrogen content and leaf nitrogen:phosphorus ratio over nearly 170 years.
