2001The purpose of the following experiments is to investigate how quantity contrasts, which are crucially related to the unit mora, are produced and perceived in two different languages, Finnish and Japanese. Native speakers’ production and perception of singleton /n/ and geminate /nn/ are examined in four experiments.
