Quantifying Strain and Its Effect on Charge Transport in Ge/Si Core/Shell Nanowires

This work demonstrates strain engineering in Ge/Si core–shell nanowires (CS NWs) by tuning the Ge core‐Si shell dimensions. Polarization‐resolved µ‐Raman and geometrical phase analysis quantify the resulting strain. A steric‐hindrance molecular engineering strategy uses dimethyl maleate (DMM) to convert poly(1,4‐butanediol) bis(4‐aminobenzoate) (PBDAB) into a precursor with reduced reactivity via Michael addition, thereby retarding the curing process to form a transparent, ultraflexible, and self‐healable secondary‑amine polyurea (PuSA) with a crosslinked network.

Covalent Reprogramming of Kinase Binders to Modulate Protein Abundance

Electrophilic remodeling of a broad‐spectrum kinase binder reveals how subtle chemical changes reprogram protein fate. An acrylamide analog of a multi‐kinase binder selectively stabilizes Aurora kinase A (AURKA) by suppressing its ubiquitination, while a short‐linker variant converts this stabilizer into a degrader.
