Constant time lattice reduction in dimension 4 with application to SQIsign

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
In this paper we propose a constant time lattice reduction algorithm for integral dimension-4 lattices. Motivated by its application in the SQIsign postquantum signature scheme, we provide for the first time a constant time LLLlike algorithm with ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Heterogeneous discounting in consumption-investment problems. Time consistent solutions [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we analyze a stochastic continuous time model in finite horizon in which agents discount the instantaneous utility function and the final function at constant but different instantaneous discount rates of time preference.

A Critical Analysis of the Thermo-Optic Time Constant in Si Photonic Devices

open access: yesPhotonics
The use of integrated heaters is widespread in silicon photonics for waveguide temperature control. The dynamical behavior of the heaters is important for determining their usefulness for certain applications.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Demo 18-28 RC Charging Curve [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
When a resistor R and a capacitor C are connected in series across a voltage source the capacitor charges with a characteristic time called the time constant t, where t = RC.

Fine-structure constant constraints on late-time dark energy transitions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We use recent astrophysical and local tests of the stability of the fine-structure constant, α, to constrain a particular phenomenological but physically motivated class of models in which the dark energy equation of state can undergo a rapid transition ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
