VLSI implementation of an efficient Fused Add-Multiply unit using Constant-time addition
2015 International Conference on Innovations in Information, Embedded and Communication Systems (ICIIECS), 2015Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications widely use complex arithmetic operations. This paper introduces an implementation of one of the complex arithmetic operations, the Fused Add-Multiply (FAM) operation. In general, a separate adder and a multiplier are used to perform Add-Multiply operation.

On Lions and Elligators: An Efficient Constant-Time Implementation of CSIDH
2019The recently proposed CSIDH primitive is a promising candidate for post quantum static-static key exchanges with very small keys. However, until now there is only a variable-time proof-of-concept implementation by Castryck, Lange, Martindale, Panny, and Renes, recently optimized by Meyer and Reith, which can leak various information about the private ...

MemJam: A False Dependency Attack Against Constant-Time Crypto Implementations in SGX
2018Cache attacks exploit memory access patterns of cryptographic implementations. Constant-Time implementation techniques have become an indispensable tool in fighting cache timing attacks. These techniques engineer the memory accesses of cryptographic operations to follow a uniform key independent pattern. However, the constant-time behavior is dependent

We present a word- and bit-parallel magnitude-comparison architecture that permits multiple comparands to be compared with multiple relations in constant time. The proposed magnitude-comparison algorithm uses a novel polarization and wavelength-encoding scheme to achieve a fast, scalable realization.

Preservice undergraduates should acquire many skills in their teacher preparation program that support them as future effective teachers. For special education preservice teachers, one of these important skills is teaching with the constant time delay procedure, an evidence-based practice for teaching learners with moderate or severe disabilities.

A complete and constant time wait-free implementation of CAS from LL/SC and vice versa
1998We consider three popular types of shared memory that support one of the following sets of operations: {CAS, read, write}, {LL, SC, VL, read, write}, or {RLL, RSC, read, write}. We present algorithms that, together with Moir's [Moi97], efficiently implement each shared memory above from any of the other two.
