A Low-Loss Three-Pole Frequency-Agile Bandpass Filter with Constant Absolute Bandwidth

In this letter, a three-pole frequency-agile bandpass filter (FA-BPF) with three transmission zeros (TZs) is presented. Based on the element variable coupling matrix (EVCM), the FA-BPF consists of two varactor-loaded quarter-wavelength resonators and one half-wave length resonator with varactors loaded at the specific position from the shorted-end.

In this paper, a method to get the electrically tunable bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth base on electric coupling is presented. By changing the position of the capacitor, the resonator can conveniently obtain the different slopes coupling line, and the constant bandwidth filter can obtain.
