Tunable Diplexer With Identical Passband and Constant Absolute Bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2020
Frequency-adaptive bandpass diplexer (FA-BPD) with constant absolute bandwidths (ABWs) and two identical passbands at every state is the most useful duplexing tunable filter for the smart frequency-division duplex (FDD) system. However, it is widely considered a challenge.

Tunable bandpass filters with constant absolute bandwidth cascaded trisection topology

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2021
A novel cascade trisection (CT) coupling structure, based on half-wavelength resonators, is proposed for designing constant absolute bandwidth (CABW) tunable bandpass filters.

A Tunable Bandpass Filter with Constant Absolute Bandwidth

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2011
A novel tunable bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth is presented in this paper. Introducing a mixed electric and magnetic coupling structure and a new external coupling scheme, nearly constant absolute bandwidth is maintained across the tuning range. Theoretical analysis and design approach are demonstrated. The proposed filter is designed

A constant absolute bandwidth filter with dual independent tunable passbands

2014 IEEE International Wireless Symposium (IWS 2014), 2014
This paper presents a novel procedure to the design of independent tunable dual-band bandpass filters with constant absolute 3-dB bandwidths. Only two bias voltages are required to control the locations of the passbands, respectively. Two kinds of dual-mode resonators are proposed to be selected while designing the passbands.

Tunable S-band Elliptic Bandpass Filter With Constant Absolute Bandwidth

2021 IEEE 21st Annual Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON), 2021
This paper presents a tunable bandpass filter in the S band. The proposed design cascades a 5th order elliptic low-pass filter (LPF) and a 5th order elliptical high-pass filter (HPF) to achieve the desired bandpass behavior. The absolute bandwidth of this design is determined by the resonance frequencies (transmission zeros) of the shunt series LC ...

Constant absolute bandwidth UHF tunable filter using RF MEMS

2012 42nd European Microwave Conference, 2012
This paper presents the design and the performances of a tunable UHF filter that uses MEMS capacitors arrays. Central frequency of the filter varies from 278 to 385 MHz and can be adjusted by actuating a desired number of MEMS. Thanks to a specific topology and well-chosen input and output tank circuits, the absolute bandwidth varies from 13 to 14 MHz ...
