Experimental Demonstration of Temporally Aware Fault‐Tolerant Sensor Fusion Using Memristive Associative Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In dynamic driving scenarios, the proposed approach ensures only temporally aligned sensor inputs to make driving decisions, preventing false activations. By enabling selective hardware‐level learning, it achieves fast, reliable responses under noisy conditions.

Machine Learning‐Assisted Design and Performance Prediction of a Compact Dual‐Band Polarization‐Insensitive THz Metamaterial Absorber for Skin‐Cancer‐Related Refractive‐Index Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A compact QASRR‐based THz metamaterial absorber enables polarization‐insensitive dual‐band absorption and skin‐cancer‐related refractive‐index sensing through measurable resonance shifts. Field, surface‐current, and circuit analyses clarify the dual‐resonance mechanism, while StackNet‐assisted prediction accurately estimates the simulated absorption ...

Optimal Bandwidth in Semiconducting Polymer Chains

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Polymeric semiconductors have achieved improved mobility over the years while decreasing their bandwidth, a trend that clearly cannot continue indefinitely. This paper establishes the minimum bandwidth beyond which further band narrowing has a detrimental effect.

Monolithic Dispersion Element‐Free Optical Spectrometer Fabricated by Combinatorial Inkjet‐Printing of Metal Halide Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents inkjet‐printed MHP photodetectors and optical filters. Three precursor inks enable bandgaps from 1.6–3.1 eV, covering the visible spectrum. Combining detector and filter produces a fully printed, dispersion‐free optical spectrometer with precisely tunable spectral selectivity and a minimum spectral bandwidth of 30 nm.

Anion‐Cation Synergistic Passivation for High‐Performance FA‐Cs Halide Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
An anion‐cation synergistic passivation strategy is developed to improve perovskite photodetectors. Surface‐localized DMePDA2+ cations and bulk‐diffused Cl− anions simultaneously reduce defects, enhancing charge transport and suppressing recombination.

Redesigning Interlayers for Anode‐Free Batteries: Harnessing Continuity and Metal Inventory

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Interlayers for anode‐free batteries must provide continuous interfacial coverage while remaining thin enough to preserve the finite cathode‐derived active‐metal inventory. This Perspective couples thin‐film closure with stoichiometric active‐metal consumption to reveal practical design windows across chemistry, substrate roughness, cathode loading ...

Crop Insurance Design and On‐Farm Risk Adaptation

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The United States spends billions annually on crop insurance premium subsidies, yet the prevailing distance‐based guarantee design unintentionally rewards risk‐taking by linking subsidies to yield variability. We consider a simple redesign: define guarantees in terms of probability so that coverage reflects a consistent likelihood of indemnity.
