Photo‐Switching Thermal and Lithium‐Ion Conductivity in Azobenzene Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive azobenzene polymers control thermal and ionic transport simultaneously through structural transitions. UV illumination disrupts π–π stacking, converting crystalline trans states to amorphous cis configurations. Thermal conductivity drops from 0.45 to 0.15 W·m−1·K−1 while Li+ diffusivity increases 100 fold. This dual transport switching

Purcell‐Enhanced Spectrally Precise Emission in Dual‐Microcavity Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Spectrally precise emission from broadband organic light‐emitting diodes is realized via a dual‐microcavity strategy. This architecture achieves narrowband emission (full width at half maximum, FWHM = 21 nm) with ultrapure color approaching BT.2020 by enhancing the Purcell effect via coupling of excitons with dual‐microcavity resonance.

Spatiotemporal Plasma–Mediated Laser Fabrication of Ultrahigh‐Aspect‐Ratio Nanochannel Arrays for Vertical Perovskite Nanowire Semiconductor Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A spatiotemporal plasma–mediated laser processing approach is developed to fabricate ultrahigh–aspect ratio nanochannel arrays and corresponding perovskite nanowire arrays within transparent materials for optoelectronics devices. The laser‐fabricated nanochannels serve as templates for controlled perovskite infiltration and crystallization, enabling ...

Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...

Electrochemically Driven Dissipative Growth of Affinity Hydrogels for Bioresponsive Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Voltage pulses drive the growth and reinforcement of hydrogel films under dissipative conditions. This biocompatible strategy enables efficient integration of affinity ligands into the hydrogel matrix, enhancing the selective capture of growth factors and allowing precise temporal control over their release, making them well‐suited as adaptive ...

Comparative analysis of microwave radiation generated by the interaction between electron beam and plasma under different methods

open access: yesScientific Reports
This article presents a physical model that describes the interaction between surface electron beams and plasma. The dispersion relations for beam plasma interactions were derived using perturbation method and field matching methods.

Effect of Ga Content on Defect States in CuIn\u3csub\u3e1-x\u3c/sub\u3eGa\u3csub\u3ex\u3c/sub\u3eSe\u3csub\u3e2\u3c/sub\u3e Photovoltaic Devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Defects in the band gap of CuIn1-xGaxSe2 have been characterized using transient photocapacitance spectroscopy. The measured spectra clearly show response from a band of defects centered around 0.8 eV from the valence band edge as well as an exponential ...

Nonparametric Independence Screening via Favored Smoothing Bandwidth

open access: yes, 2017
We propose a flexible nonparametric regression method for ultrahigh-dimensional data. As a first step, we propose a fast screening method based on the favored smoothing bandwidth of the marginal local constant regression.

Artificial bandwidth extension using the constant Q transform

open access: yes2017 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2017
Most artificial bandwidth extension (ABE) algorithms are based on the classical source-filter model of speech production. This approach generally requires the dual extension of each component through independent processing. Alternative approaches reported recently operate on the spectrum. With human perception thought to be largely insensitive to phase,

Photoconductivity‐Driven Quantum Efficiency Gain in Inorganic Ruddlesden‐Popper Layered Cs2PbBr2I2 Perovskite Photodetector for Visible Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rational halogen mixing strategy was employed to shift the bandgap of Cs2PbBr2I2 from ultraviolet to visible region, enabling first realization of a visible‐light photodetector with this 2D layered Ruddlesden‐Popper perovskite material. Under illumination, light‐induced internal field forms and drives trap‐mediated persistent photoconductivity ...
