Tunable combline bandstop filter with constant bandwidth

2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2009
A new method for the design of tunable bandstop filters is presented. It is based on a dual-band combline structure consisting of a wideband bandpass filter with integrated bandstop filter. The bandstop filter exhibits the very useful property that its bandwidth remains constant as the center frequency is tuned, without the need for coupling adjustment.

A grounded constant current source with improved bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1978
A grounded constant current source employing a single operational amplifier is discussed. It is shown that improved bandwidth and reduced slew rate limitations are obtained with this circuit.

HybridORAM: Practical oblivious cloud storage with constant bandwidth

Information Sciences, 2019
Abstract Along with the popularity of outsourcing data to the cloud server, data privacy becomes a central consideration. Because encryption alone has been proved insecure for the leakages of access pattern, Oblivious RAM (ORAM) was proposed to protect where, when and how often the data block has been accessed.

Bandwidth extension of a CMOS constant Q active

2010 International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT), 2010
In this paper, CMOS active inductor with extended bandwidth using a compensation resistor is presented. This active inductor is used as an active component in the designing of bandpass filter. Moreover, the quality factor of the CMOS active inductor is almost independent of signal swing.

Bandwidth-Based Prefetching for Constant-Stride Arrays

2004
We describe a new algorithm for prefetching arrays that are accessed with a compile-time known constant stride. We demonstrate a hardware limitation that has not previously been dealt with (limited off-chip bandwidth) and show its effect on prefetching. Our new algorithm is designed to cope with this hardware limitation.

Gain-tuned active filters with constant percent bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1975
It is shown that the amplifier gains in a two-amplifier RC active filter section can be used to tune the center frequency of its bandpass characteristic in such a manner that the percent bandwidth remains essentially constant over the tuning range. Low-pass and high-pass tunable sections with constant pole- Q are also derived.

A Tunable Bandpass Filter with Constant Absolute Bandwidth

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2011
A novel tunable bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth is presented in this paper. Introducing a mixed electric and magnetic coupling structure and a new external coupling scheme, nearly constant absolute bandwidth is maintained across the tuning range. Theoretical analysis and design approach are demonstrated. The proposed filter is designed

Bandwidths of the Equal Time-Constant Amplifier

Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1960
S>Formulas are developed for the effective noise bandwidths for amplifiers with both upper and lower pass band limits defined by equal RC time constants. The half-power or 3db bandwidth is found to be twice the center frequency; whereas the effective noise bandwidth is found to be proportional to the shot noise in addition to being dependent on the ...

Constant bandwidth voltage amplification using current conveyors

International Journal of Electronics, 1988
Traditional feedback voltage amplifier formulations suffer from the restriction of a constant gain-bandwidth product, reducing the bandwidth dramatically at higher gains. A feedback voltage amplifier designed around a current conveyor or current amplifier completely overcomes this restriction and permits maximum bandwidth to be obtained for all values ...

Ultra-Selective Constant-Bandwidth Electromechanically Tunable HTS Filters

2006 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2006
We report an ultra narrow band 3-pole tunable filter. Tuning from 770 MHz up to 930 MHz, which is about 20%, was demonstrated. Insertion loss was 0.7 dB at 770 MHz and 1.6 dB at 930 MHz. Coupling bandwidth was kept almost constant over the entire range. A novel filter configuration and tuning algorithm is proposed and demonstrated.
